Dominik Licato

Dominick is a BLS, ACLS & PALS instructor with Saving Chicago CPR. He grew up and currently live in Chicago with his wife Katie. Dominick enjoys hockey & is an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan.

I was always unsatisfied with instructors who just taught the material to get the class done with as quickly as possible. I enjoy teaching the material in a different manner so that people are captivated and enjoy being trained in CPR.

I was never the “office” working type of person and I always wanted to be a firefighter and a paramedic. I enjoy working in a hands on environment, which is what my job involves every 24-hour shift. I have come to Saving Chicago CPR to teach because I enjoy educating people on one of the core fundamentals of my own career. Saving lives is not always an easy task, but with the proper education and training, you will be ready when the time calls for you to act. My goal when teaching is to make sure each person walks out of the building each day with a better understanding of CPR, and with more confidence in their own CPR skills.

What Clients Say About Me

I highly recommend going to Saving Chicago CPR! I was not looking forward to the full day ACLS course, but Jay was excellent, entertaining, and he calmed everyone’s nerves about the “big megacode”. The facility is clean, comfortable and close to major roads. I will definitely be returning for recertification in 2 yrs!!!

Jay was the best instructor for ACLS I have ever seen. I have taken a few other classes in the past and none have compared to the quality, organization, and professionalism of this one. I can’t wait to take PALS! Five stars!
